Let's lock in
It's spring, toes are coming out. Also, all my Sephora sale picks!
I have so much to cover this week with the impending Sephora sale starting today!!! AKA our Super Bowl. Because, repeat after me: “we do not pay full price for things if we do not have to!”
So let me touch on a few things really quickly!
My items from the Shopbop sale arrived! Here is a try on video of everything I got. Everything from the video is linked here.
It’s almost season for those toes to be out. Came across this brand called Margaux, and they offer different shoe widths, which is genius. As a wide-footed gal, I do struggle with that when shopping other brands. Eyeing these 3:
The Deia are very Bottega Veneta to me! I also love how the espresso shade is so dark brown it could be black in different lighting.
The Palermo gives the flip-flop look but with the security of the ankle strap. Cannot decide on black or espresso for this one. What do you think?
The Flat sandal is a perfect classic that I’m ordering in saddle. Perfect nude color for me!
My go-to girl for gym inspo, Courtney, posted about this protein powder, and I immediately ordered it. I’m SUPER picky about protein powder as I don’t tolerate dairy well and I hate, read with volume, HATE artificial flavors. Welp, I got the Prime Protein in Chocolate *without Stevia, and it is DELiCiOUS. Kind of tastes like melted soft-serve 😋. Definitely gonna try cookies & cream next! It’s free from dairy, whey, gluten, and common irritants found in plant-based protein.
Can use code GABRIELA15 for 15% off if you want!
I also started doing this little weekly series on my socials called “5 things I want to buy this week.” I can’t decide if it’s repetitive to tell you about it here, just in case you’re off socials (respect if you are). Here is this week's one in case you missed it! Everything from this video is also linked here.
Let me know what you think? Add it here weekly, too?
The Sephora Sale:
I usually use this sale to restock on things I always use and then maybe try something new that is on the pricier side.
Repurchasing:
Shani Darden Signature Peel - I’d say this is comparable to a fancy treatment at an expensive spa. I will never stop using this.
Lawless Overnight Lip Mask - This is on my nightstand and is used every. single. night. Non-negotiable. It’s the best lip mask I’ve ever used and I buy two at a time.
Kulfi Badi Lash Tubing Mascara - Greatest mascara of all time. I will not allow tubing mascara slander on this substack!!
Soft Services Body Retinol - Have been using retinol on my face for years… No idea why it took me so long to use it on my body, but holy shit. My legs have never looked better?!
Hanni in shower Splash Salve - I use this religiously because the only way I seem to put body lotion on is in the shower. Pairs nicely with the body retinol (you can put it on after the Hanni). Work smarter, not harder, people!
Rare Beauty Brow Gel - my go-to brow gel for 5 years now. I’ve tried others, but always return to this.
K18 Clarifying Shampoo - Have been using this once a week for 3 years religiously. My scalp feels healthy and clean plus my hair gets insanely soft from it.
Shani Darden Rescue Serum - This stuff is a lifesaver. I do not break out anymore, and if I do get a little something, this stuff wipes it out. I also love to put this on before plane rides. It saves my skin. Have gone through 3 bottles of this??
K18 Airwash Dry Shampoo - This shit is literal witchcraft. I do not understand how it’s so good but I threw out every other dry shampoo that I had. It really does feel like your hair is cleaner after. Go ahead and buy the travel size version as well. Once you airwash, you don’t go back.
New (to me) buys:
Favorites (if you don’t already have them):
Rhode Pocket Blush - I like ‘Sleepy Girl’ & ‘Toasted Teddy.’
Fara Homidi Buffer brush - It’s the best concealer brush I’ve come across.
Skin Mercy - a delicious, unproblematic moisturizer. Thicc without clogging your pores. Really excellent for layering retinol with as well! +10 pts for the great name.
YSL Blue Mascara - Live a little! Every time I wear it, I get a compliment. Unexpected and more subtle than you think!
Fara Homidi Concealer - This has been my favorite concealer since it dropped on the market 2 years ago. It’s buildable and looks like your skin. I use Ochre the most, then pop in the shade Midi during the summer months when I’m tan. The packaging is sexy and there are refills.
Eadem Cashmere Peel - Fantastic acid that does not annihilate you but still works.
Sol De Janeiro Body Oil - Supermodel legs in a bottle. It feels more like a serum than heavy oil, btw. I will scream this from the tops of mountains until people listen to me.
Ciele SPF 50 concealer - Great concealer with SPF. Need I say more?
Crown Affair Overnight Repair - This is also in my nightstand. Put it on my ends every night and somehow wake up with gorgeous & healthy looking hair everyday.
Violette FR Lip Products - My three favorites are the Bisou Balm (think, water color, lived-in look), Lip Nectar (lip stain but also hydrating), and Petal Bouche (deep matte red that doesn’t move). One of these is on my lips every day.
Mac Glow Play Blush - This is a recent new favorite of mine. The shade ‘Blush, Please’ is the perfect everyday no blush, blush.
Amika Hair Waver - honestly, this is my favorite hot tool. Easy waves that look effortless.
Hope this one was helpful! As always, I’m eternally grateful for your support.

Ok obsessed with the gloves!
